Gabriella Sanchez is a multidisciplinary artist working in her hometown of Los Angeles. Her work as a fine artist centers around the tension of duality and explores how meaning is created and received through both text and imagery. This is often done through a semi autobiographical lens and considers the impact of public narratives on the formation of identity.
Xico González is an educator, artist, poet, and a political/cultural organizer based in Sacramento, California. Xico’s serigraphs have been featured in national and international exhibitions including exhibits in Argentina and China. González’s written work has been published in several publications such as the poetry anthology “The Border Crossed Us,” from Vagabond Press.
Luis R. Campos-Garcia aka Lurac is a multidisciplinary artist who migrated into the United States of
North America in early 2000s. He studied Graphic Design at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), and earned a B.A. in Art Studio at California State University, Sacramento. He has been part of Sublevarte Colectivo, a collective of visual creators, based in Mexico City.
Maldición is a local Xicanx apparel brand, created by artist and founder, Antonio Rivera. Each design by Rivera reflects the passion and artistry that gives a contemporary voice to the Xicanx/Mexican experience. Founded in Northern California, Maldición launched their website in March of 2013 and has since created countless pieces that give voice to images that capture the heart of our cultura through a contemporary urban lens.
